btw nice vic quotation ya got goin on i personally like, "It's gettin so funky in here, im gonna have to light a match."

LOL, that's also a good quote.
Vic's the man!:bassist:
Thanks

A little Eden story:

I had been kinda bummed that the 212 I traded for last summer was a 4 ohm cabinet.
My D410XLT is 8 ohms.

I wanted to bridge my WT800B into both cabs, but 8ohm + 4ohm = 2.6ohm load, no dice.

So, I decided to get out the multimeter + check the resistance on the cab.
I checked the 8 ohm D410XLT first, then I checked the 4 ohm D212XLT.............Same readings!....?

Funny, I thought to myself, so I pulled the speakers on the 212.
They are 16 ohm speakers.
Tis an 8 ohm cabinet!

Excellent, now I can bridge my WT800B into both cabinets.
Thumpity Bumpity
:bassist: :D

Do you want to get in the club?

Sure. I power the cab with a Peavey though, if that knocks me out of the club. LOL

The setup sounds purty good to me though. I wouldn't even own this Eden cab, but I got it for $350 used, which I could barely afford at the time. I figured I couldn't go wrong at that price.

Seems most folks I've met use Eden for a more modern scooped sound. Anyone besides me use it for old school warm round tones?

I would NOT call the Eden sound a scooped sound. Doesn't matter what cabs you're running, none of them have a mid-scooped sound. Mid BUMPED sound, absolutely.

But unless you're using that Enhance knob full blast all the time, these things certainly ain't midscooped.

And yes, I love the 212XLT for an old-school deep low sound. This cab sounds like an old 215 cab but with far faster response and tighter lows for a 5-string bass. I love the rumble it gives me for my low B string.

Easily my favorite cab from Eden. Except I need to go back and steal that 410XST at Low Down Sound.... it'll be my new favorite! MOOAAHAHAHA!!!

Well, for just about every gig, I run the NA650 into the two 4 ohm Avatar SB112 neos as pictured on the 1st page. I've been totally enamored with the tone the head produces. It gives me both warmth and hi fi clarity, which I never thought was possible with a solid state head prior to my Eden experience. the EQ is so effective that I only have to make minute adjustments to achieve satisfaction plus if the mood strikes, I can get some good grit with the Edge control, which isn't very often. I did have to send it to the factory for warranty work on a cold solder in the input jack (I could have done it myself, but why mess with the warranty?) and in the meantime one of my soundmen lent me his WT800 for a gig, running stereo into the 112s and wouldn't you know, I got the same tone :) . If for any reason I feel I need more speaker mass (I.E. not as of yet) I have the option of running the NA650 into an Avatar Delta 410 and Avatar B212 neo, which sounds huger than I really need for most gigs. For an outdoor/really large venue rig I'm considering getting a Navigator pre to run into a Crest CA9 which I could in turn run with all four cabs, should that much doom be needed. Stylistically, I play mostly metal (mostly the modern variety), but I've done sub work for blues, classic rock, country and even reggae bands (good music is good music, no matter what the genre). 99% of the time though, I bring it loud and proud with the metal :bassist: Well, that's my Eden experience thus far....

I'm not real good at explaining the tone, so I'll let someone else try.
It would be best to try before you buy.
That said, I got mine before ever hearing one, and I love it.:hyper:

From now on I will not be making new replies for every new member and their number.
I will add your name to the list and put it on the first post in here.
If I miss you, let me know!

Count me in too!

Eden WT400 through a Bergie HT112 or if bigger gig
add an Epifani T112.

Many years of sucess with a SWR Baby blue with long
throw LDS woofers, but my current band needs the
low end response the WT400 gives.

Tried a Markbass LMII, great amp, but not enough to
make me pull the trigger. The Eden had it at first sound :-)
