I know this may be a dumb question. Any way to run my iPod through my head so I can practice songs quietly through the headphone jack?

Yes. I have a wt550 and it has 2 aux in's. I run my ipod to one and my drum machine to another. Makes for a pretty good practice set up.

Wouldn't a rack that fits that tightly promote overheating?

Speaking of, I want either another better looking rack unit for my Eden, or I will just get the Eden head gig bag and use it plain. Are there any good tolex covered racks? I hate the carpet (I have a cat) and I don't like the molded plastic either (looks cheap to me).

This is the nicest rack case I've ever used, tried or seen.

No rat fur, almost airtight, definitely watertight if you put a silicone caulk bead inside the lid to form a gasket. Inside of the rack is wider because of the single-molded body and integrated handles, giving more internal room for air to circulate. I like to shove my microphone and bag in back there between the wall and my WT550. The best part of this rack, it is THE lightest rack you'll find. the chassis is sturdy yet flexible so it'll take bumps without shattering or permanently deforming. The handles are the comfiest with plenty of knuckle room. Anyone who uses the old fashioned SKB cases knows what I'm talkin' about.

It's just too bad the roto rack does not come in 2 space.
I just see 4 and up.
I'd have to find some stuff to fill up the 2 extra spaces (rack tuner, power conditioner?).
That would counteract the light weight though.:crying:
My standard SKB case will have to do!

If you want a shallower rack, the Roll-X rack version is what you want.

One side has the normal lid for clearing knobs and input jacks, the backside has the flat-panel lid. Its overall depth is smaller, but its internal depth is standard 17 inches.

Plus it rolls. \m/

Kinda cool new head.

I'm not too thrilled with the graphic Eq but that's IMO.
I would love to hear it live.

I do, however, like this:

3. Speaking of the E series, wouldn't it be Really Cool and a Very Good Thing worth dozens of Cool Points if we had an amplifier to mate with the E series cabinets? You know, something all-tube like the old-school amps, yet was affordable for mere mortals? Well, I wouldn't be writing this if it weren't true. David has designed and engineered a 300W (closer to 320, in fact) all-tube head with a straight ahead tone control set (3-band with Mid shift - 550Hz and 2.2KHz.) Don't ask me how, because I didn't think it was possible, but this baby is bench testing at 700 Watt real peaks. This is a no-nonsense amp that will kick your behind. Twice.

And the NEO cabs and combos....:hyper:
