EDEN WT405 vs SWR BASS 350 (CHROME VERSION)

I need your opinion please..

Currently own SWR BASS 350 (CHROME VERSION), but found a great deal on an EDEN WT405.

I play a Music Man Sterling and SR5 through Aguilar GS212. Love my tone, but might want to try something new with a little more power...The Eden price is a steal.

Would u keep the SWR or go Eden? Or would u save for an Aguilar AG 500SC ?

Ive tried the Eden and AG and I like them both....

Opinions appreciated! thanks!

i would figure that the eden and swr are a little more similar in that they are both tube preamps am i correct? i have an SWR Bass 750, and i really will never get rid of it. i love its tone for all genres of music.

I owened an SWR sm 400 and sm500,now i own an Eden WT 550.
I like the tone better on the Eden.

The WT405 does not have a tube preamp.

IMO the WT405 is a ultra clean sounding amplifier, it does not have the warmth that a Eden WT550/WT800 has.
But, the WT405 cuts through a live mix like no other amplifier I have used before (Which is why it is the only Eden amplifier I currently use).
It also has a very nice compression circuit, pre/post DI and with some tweaking the *warm* circuit can be useable in certain situations.

Seeing they can be had NEW on Ebay for under $500 makes that the best buy out there at the moment from any manufacturer......plus it will do 2ohms all day long with ease.

To my ears the SWR 350 has a bit of a gritty sound to it, not saying I don't like it as I almost bought one, but it is a different tone/sound then the Eden.
