Eden WTDI Direct Box/Preamp

Hey out there. I haven't tried this but I was listening to a podcast by Brian Wampler on pedals (duh!) and he and another employee on the cast used 10 gauge rubber o-rings you find at hardware stores to place under your knobs. The effect is making the knobs harder to move by accident but still turn-able. I haven't tried it or even seen if it will fit but it seems worth a try. I have gotten rid of pedals that had super loose pots with crazy gain levels.

^^^ good tip! I've used an elastic band looped a million times around my gain pot shaft on my old Fulltone BassDrive for that very reason.

Orings would probably work a lot better!

Get yourself some "Grolsch (Flip Top) EZ Cap Bottle Gaskets Washers" off of ebay to put under the knobs. I got 100 for less than $20. They also double as strap locks. I give them out to every guitarist I meet and they love 'em as strap locks...

I would like to ask - what is about dc power? Can I connect Eden WTDI to 12v dc? My pedalboard power supply has 9v and 12v dc - is 12v enough or
i should search for power supply with 15v dc?
Sorry for the dumb question, but i can't figure it out.

Run it off 12, I have used it myself. Since I now only run a smaller board with only 9v available I have gone ahead and spliced in a charge pump underneath the board which takes it up to 17.5v, so if anyone only has 9v there's an idea for you.
