I always got confused about the bypass switch, why is it when the light is lit the unit is off? Always seemed backwards and constantly had to remind myself which is which.

Eden WTDI Preamp, a short review

Of course these work great as a DI but I think they really work great as a preamp replacement when plugged into an "FX return" or "poweramp in" on a regular bass head. Going into a PA style poweramp, they are a bit shy of output to drive them properly.
I love mine!

3. Bass EQ level - 15dB of boost or cut at approximately 30Hz.
5. Midrange EQ - Boost or cut middle frequency (as selected by mid-shift) 6. Mid Shift - flip between 550Hz and 2.2KHz as adjustable midrange frequency
7. Treble -15db of boost or cut at approximately 5KHz
I really don't know if they work as "shelving" but my guess is that it isn't a shelving style EQ.
Also, let me add that the master controls both 1/4 and xlr outputs, the thing is dead quiet, and the gain is sensitive- I run mine at 9:00, no "clip" light but youll know when you hit the ceiling by the nasty overload/saturation sound.
I run mine flat and I really love the tone, this thing will improve most any "lesser" bass head or backline amp.

Is anyone using the WTDI as part of their bass pedalboard, NOT going into the FX loop? If so, where are you placing it in the chain? Last, before the amp? My current pedalboard looks like this: Bass --> Boss TU2 Tuner-->EHX Bass Big Muff --> Ibanez Bass Screamer --> EHX Bassballs filter --> Carl Martin Bass Chorus --> amp

Hi, I would use it as the first pedal.
But also it is important to check which levels which pedal can take and give.
The input of the WTDI is for instruments and the output is line level.

Does anyone know the current draw(Ma) for this 15v pedal? I can't find anything on it, & the manual(for whatever reason) doesn't say.
