I think we should as well. I only knew about it because I studied the AWB at school last year.

I've had a couple of emails back and forth with Godlyke, who I guess manufactures the TWA pedals. Apparently nobody had mentioned it to them before my email. It's clear to me from this talk that this was an accident, that they were unaware of the AWB or this use of that symbol. They told me that they are going to change the logo before they go into production because of this.

Looking at the name of the pedal, I guess it is just the old [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] circuit in a smaller enclosure. Owning the original and now discontinued TriLogic for several years - best EQ which does not change your intruments character - the only drawback imho is its size. A smaller enclosure could give me a reason to buy another one.

I'm really underwhelmed by the RingThing... the autotune is cool and all, but it takes about the same time just to manually tune a ringmod. I thought for sure it would have a note-tracking mode! It sounds a lot like the Alesis Bitrman's Ringmod, from the demo's at least. Oh well, I wasn't in the market for a digital ringmod anyway, but I am interested to see what kinds of cool tricks people work out with the presets, shuffling presets, etc.

Yep, people have been asking for one here since the original VT was released, and I think news of the programmable VT was dropped here on talkbass before it hit the NAMM-room floor hehe..

He does bring up the gig reliability issue. I still sort of agree that this is a glorified breadboard but I do see some benefits.
$400 for the one that includes the Super Hard-On, Fuzz Factory, & tone stack circuitry, which doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. $300 for an empty box.
I'd be interested to see the 16 sequencer module he is planning on making for this.
