From another thread over on HC :bassist::

Just plain sexyness! The white contrasts so well on the moog.
Sexy, even for a tuner. I like it better than the all black tuners that are frequently seen around here.
I wonder what these guys do?
Oooh, tons and tons of 4ms buttons, knobs, switches and other things to get into trouble with.

What's up with the ZVex proto with the XLR?

I have a rough prototype of the ZVEX Communicator (TM, Patents Pending). It lets a musician communicate with the monitor engineer (or FOH guy in a small club) to relay needs for up to 4 channels... for example, he needs more vocals in his monitor and less kick, so he clicks one stomp switch to move the cursor to vocal and another stomp switch to select "more", "less" or "nevermind". It has little windows for four channels that are full of bright LEDs and illuminate a piece of artist's tape that has writing on it. One is in front of the musician, one in front of the monitor person.

It has other features too. Stepping on both switches illuminates an "emergency" LED which indicates "look at me!"

Hitting both switches 3 times resets both units in case of a crash.

It can send the signals through a mic cable up to 1km.

It can send the signals through a snake.

It has midi inputs and audio inputs with LEDs indicating signal presence, so that one can use CD backup tracks or Midi tracks that "click in" without telegraphing the click to the audience through the monitors.

This ;)

I agree but can't help thinking it looks like an iPod :bassist:.

That new Civilian Issue Giger counter has me very intrigued. It's small enough of a design now that you could easily fit it and a blend on the same board.

Hmm...if size is an issue then it's a blessing but I can't help thinking it's worth paying $100 more for all those extra features, or even get one 2nd hand for cheaper :hmm:.

I think it's a great idea though :).

TWA = Totally Wycked Audio. AWB =/= Totally Wycked Audio.

Understanding fail :p

In fear of the Banhammer™, I daren't go into politics on here but I wasn't talking about the company, I was talking about that graphic on the front. It's the logo for the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB) :hmm: as I say...can't believe it was approved. A quick google search will reveal all ;).

I didn't realise that. Ouch. I still want one though.

When does the pedal version AGRO come out?

WTDP? said that the Agro should be out in early spring and the twin dynamic filter should be out in late spring.
