Effects for thrash

JimmyM got banned

Thanks, I get it then... Thought it was an early April Fool's joke, or maybe something really bad had happened to him. If it was because of naming mostly one brand, I'll add I use EHX nano's & an Akai Headrush too! (But not so much to do with this particular post)

Another B3K endorsement, but its like $275. I saved up for months, and am very glad I did. Prior to that I had an Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive, which was as close to a B3K sound under $100 as i could ever find. Its just so freaking huge!

Anyway, a Lomenzo Hyperdrive will get you pretty close to 80's thrash for sure. I mean, Megadeths's bassist endorses it. heh.

Good luck!

B3K is something I dream of having. it sounds so great. But in NZ currency its damn near $400. I'll do it one day.

Im not in a thrash band, but I use an OCD and Fuzzrocious Rat Tail for distorted sounds and it sounds F'ing awesome. For the price I paid for both of those I could of got B3K but I just love the sound of a RAT pedal. Its nearly always on, low gain, and if I want to kick it into a heavier grind I'll click on the OCD.

Otherwise Big Muff based pedals are good
