Was there guidelines made for what can be counted? I don't think tuners, volume/expression pedals should count.
I think tuner and volume PEDALS can have a very profound EFFECT on the sound you make. Not just to be a contrarian.I think they should be included.
Inspired by the 149 pedalboard and ensuing banter in the PYPB thread. Let's see how many pedals talkbass has. You know the drill. Rack units count as one per unit. I'm going to say that multi-effects count as one pedal.
Tuners, Preamps, Volume pedals, expression pedals. If they'd occupy a spot on a pedal board I'd count them.

I'll put ten to one money on "The World's Largest Pedalboard" counting tuners, volume pedals, etc.
