I think tuner and volume PEDALS can have a very profound EFFECT on the sound you make. Not just to be a contrarian. I think they should be included.

Inspired by the 149 pedalboard and ensuing banter in the PYPB thread. Let's see how many pedals talkbass has. You know the drill. Rack units count as one per unit. I'm going to say that multi-effects count as one pedal.

Tuners, Preamps, Volume pedals, expression pedals. If they'd occupy a spot on a pedal board I'd count them.

I figured if it takes a space on a pedalboard then it should count. NS-2, LS-2 aren't "effects", but I think they should count.

The guidelines don't have to be strict, I just want to see what kind of number we can get too,...and if that means we have to give or take 50 or so tuners, etc. we could still get a fairly accurate amount.

of those i regularly use 5. the rest are expensive pieces of floor covering.

Where in the OP did you read that these effects would actually be stuck together at the International GTG?

Indeed it doesn't say anywhere! I misunderstood this thread as an attempt at beating the record for the next US GTG.
