Effects in order

For my bass I currently have an electro harmonix big muff usa, behringer chorus, behringer flanger, dunlop 105q cry baby, behringer limiter/enhancer and sansamp bass driver di programmable.

My question is what is the best order to have these effects in? And suggestions for any other pedals? (hard rock(metal style)

Prepare for a million different answers. The best thing to do is to try them all in different places. Personally, I would put the dirt first, the chorus and flanger in the middle, the 105Q second to the last and the limiter dead last.

BASS > Wah > limiter > fuzz > SansAmp > chorus > flanger > AMP.

As Floyd indicated, you will get a ******** of answers and most of them will probably be right. Do a search here on pedal order and read. Mostly experiemnt, 'cause here we're full of opinions, but its your ears that are going to be the final juge. I think Bob Bradshaw and Pete Cornish have sites that contain information on pedal order.

kk atm the moment i have the order as

Bass > Big Muff > chorus > flanger > wah > limiter > sansamp > Amp

have limiter setting set but when the wah comes on the volume still sky rockets. hence when i wanted the limiter in there...as sometimes on different rigs the effects scream loud when turned on even though they aren't that loud. so wanted the limiter to keep the volume the same no matter what the level the pedals are going into the sansamp.

is my first time using stomp boxes, always had multi effects boards which are sometimes easier to work with at times.

I personally run all synths first, then wahs, then chorus, then distortion, then delay, reverb, then amp.

I'm interested in what people have to say too...I put my Sansamp BDDI at the end because when I had it after my distortion all the rest of my pedals would clip. Right now it's
Bass > Morley Wah > EHX Bass Muff > MXR Phase 90 > MXR Bass Octave > EHX Cathedral > Sansamp BDDI. I used to have the Sansamp 3rd and the pedals after would clip. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

right now i'm just doing bass>synth>low pass filter>amp and it sounds great. hoping to get a bitrcrusher and an a/b box to switch between the synth and the crusher.

I use this logic for the most part. but if you feel something sounds better for you then use that.
