Double Bass Effects?

I'm bored since my bass went to the menders... As an electric bass player for 20 odd years and a UB learner some 1 year I'm interested to hear if anyone uses effect pedals?
Some recordings I've listened to definately have reverb on the bass and perhaps some modulation like chorus.
Any tried and tested ideas?

I use a Boss GT10B with my EUB all the time as part of my tone, and use it sometimes with my acoustic bass depending on what the gig is.

A bit of reverb helps to make the EUB sound less "dry" as acoustic basses naturally have echo inside that big wooden tub. Arco always sounds nice with some reverb. A tiny bit of chorus helps the strings sound brighter, but not in a metallic way.

I also do the EQ'ing on my pedal so I dont have to memorise amp settings when changing instruments. Also I can plug into house systems more easily, not only in terms of connections (6.5/XLR/Digital) but again EQ'ing is easier.

I also do solo concerts, using loops, delays, echos, harmonisers, you name it.

I've gotten back on the effects wagon with the group I'm currently playing with.

FDeck's highpass filter/preamp isn't really an effect, but I'm loving how it tames those massive subwoofers that overeager soundmen sometimes crank. I'm using a tiny bit of compression to balance the string volumes and an EQ pedal as a volume boost/cut for arco passages.

I've been using a Fulltone Bass Drive overdrive which actually sounds pretty nice on upright. I only use it on our "heavier stuff" but it definitely gets people's attention when I click it on! It has true bypass so I leave that in the signal chain. I've also got a Zoom multi-effect unit for wackier sounds but the bypass on that isn't great so I've got it in a side loop.
