EHX Bass Big Muff Issues

I just received a Bass Big Muff today and after getting out of work, I couldn't wait to get home and try it out. So I plugged in, stomped the pedal, and nothing. No sound at all. In bypass it works but when the effect is active, no sound is heard. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks.

That hadn't occurred to me but, after trying 3 different batteries, I've gotten the same end result

Bum pedal? I have gotten several bad Ehx pedals in recent years. QC slipping? Maybe.

this happened to me, maybe you got the input and the output mixed up. haha

or you have output on the dry channel.

make sure you are using the effect out, not the dry out!

Nope, plugged the bass into the input and I have the effect out plugged into the amp. The dry out gives me an unaltered signal as its supposed to, but the effect out has none

Is it set for dry, normal, or bass boost? where are the knobs set? Have you tried it with a power adaptor?

yeah, i got a bunk ehx pedal too. return it if you can.
