in all seriousness this is absolutely no contest. Sublime by miles. If the EHX gets more votes its only because its owned by WAY more people, but anyone who has played both would have a hard time saying the EHX is a better fuzz.. yeah its decent, but very limited. The Sublime does the same good tones and has like a dozen more and can be adjusted on the fly... I should stop telling people about this pedal and keep the awesomeness all to myself and our little cult.

I owned a Sublime for a while. Only reason I sold it was because I really don't use any fuzz or distortion for the type of music I play. It is a great pedal though. A wide range of fuzz tones and very easy to use. The only drawback to it is that it is very large. It looks cool though!

Other: Musket v II, Gray Stache, Iron Ether Oxide, or anything else with more tweekability than either of your choices.

Out of those 2, however, the Sublime - after all the EHX pedals I've gone through that company is dead to me.

I can't get along with most Big Muff style fuzzes.....either too much gain, no mids, or nasty fake low end boom. Even the best Muff clones don't sound that great to me.

Picked up the sublime, tested the sweep of the controls, found my settings and stuck it on my board. Very good sounding pedal. The big blend knob is perfect.

Thanks for the youtube vid.....it was probably one of the reasons I picked the Sublime up.

Definitely a case of more people simply having/have had a Muff pedal here. It was one of the first pedals recommended to me and I couldn't return the thing to the store fast enough.

Sublime on the other hand still wants me to play with it. I just can't justify more fuzziness.

Sub Lime.
Admittedly no experience with the muff, but owning the Sub Lime and checking out many vids on the muff, the SL seems to own the Muff. More range control of the fuzz on the Fender (crossover frequency and gain tuners on bottom) and as mentioned, the ability to dial extra on the fly, with the foot dial.

It lights up awesomely (just aesthetically kick ass), and sounds great. The only negative is size, but to me the features/sound justify the footprint.
