Electro Harmonix LPB 2ube. What a great pedal!!

Used to have an LPB-1 way back in the old days - it plugged directly into the amp without a cord. Pretty cool as I remember - just a preamp stage that added gain and thickness. Sounds like I should check out the LPB 2ube, too.

This is seriously one of the best pedals I've ever played. The overdrive is phenomenal and the tone is so full bodied and sweet.

just plugged my smartphone in to this pedal with pink floyd animals on, oush what a sound really great, clean sound and full bass. then I pluged smartphone direct into the mixer, lifeless and thin sound. same volume level.
this pedal has no soundloss and (used in this way) has no coloring, exept for the discreet tube thing. It dosn't add distortion maybe because it is a line in signal. because on bass it is possible to tune it to make some distortion.

i am looking at this pedal now...how is it for clean fat bright and punchy tones? i don't want overdrive.
