Electronics Bass Charts

Hey all

Bit of a weird one for ya, I'm starting to do a bit more session playing and starting to use charts to help jog my memory. I am thinking about going digital. What do you guys recommend for Tablets and Programs. I would like to use Android if at all possible.

I use ForScore on the iPad (I know you said "Android if at all possible," but when I looked it didn't have the programs with the capabilities).

It's basically a PDF viewer with a lot of editing capabilities. I use the colored pens a lot, as you can easily notate repeats, dynamic shifts, etc.. as well as the magic WHITE marker, which I use when we cut measures (so they're just completely gone). Other nice features are hot-buttons, where instead of having to flip back 10+ pages, you set up a link that automatically goes to the page you want. There is also a VERSIONS feature, that I find invaluable, as I do multiple runs of shows with the same score. I can save each productions' specific edits to a version, and then navigate back and forth if need be. You can also link mp3/wav files to the individual charts (for rehearsing), as well as a number of other options and features.

iRealb for both ios and Android. Been using it for years. I think there even a desktop port for Mac and PC.

Good app. Fyi, this only works on devices with 7" screens or larger. Never tried the companion app for PC but it's an additional purchase.
