Ok bear with me,

I have a Spector Euro LT with passive Aguilar pups through a Darkglass pre. I recently swapped the Aguilar for EMG active pups. My tech said he can’t wire the EMG through the pre because of a power issue off the battery.

why does my Euro LX run with the same active EMGs through the Tonepump preamp without a battery issue

Assuming it’s the standard DarkGlass Tone Capsule, then no, there’s no reason you can’t do that. The EMGs even come with a little red 9V bus header for this purpose. Battery hot goes to the bus, then the bus can feed 9V to up to five different devices. Two for your pickups, one for your preamp, and two unused.
