Elixir extra long scale coated string 5 string hard to find?

I have been to 5 stores and searched online (in Japan), but I cannot find any extra-long scale 5-string sets. I bought a long scale thinking it might work, but the taper end up between the nut and the first fret.

The odd thing is, I can find extra-long scale 4 strings, but nothing for 5 strings.

Been buying them here since they came back after the Covid bs, but not sure if they ship worldwide:

Funny thing, in SA I found a lonely tapered 'B' string extra-long Elixir, but I couldn't find the other 4 extra-long strings at all.
Strings by Mail is how I get strings nowadays.

But yes, as mentioned, you buy the 'B' and the other 4 separately for extra-long scale Elixir.

Elixir extra-long strings are only available in a 4-string set. The low B has to be purchased as a single.

Some of their regular-long 5-string sets are also bundled this way. It's just how Elixir decided to do it. Here's their catalog with all the SKUs:
I forgot to note that some of the specialty retailers will sell a set-plus-single as one product even if Elixir doesn't. When you receive it, you'll get one packet with four strings and another with one string. It makes buying strings more convenient (I'm not complaining!) but also makes it a little confusing as to what's actually available. I found this out when looking for an extra-light set a while back.

Are the tapewound the only Bs elixer sells for extra long scale, cause been to a few stores and that is the only extra long scale B they carry.

Edit: Nevermind my dyslexic @ss missed the R. OK

heh... people have done worse than that here.

The regular-long-length light B is available either untapered and tapered, afaict the extra-long is only available tapered.

Weirdly, the medium B is only available untapered. Sounds counterintuitive to me, I'd have expected you'd want that one tapered to fit some of the more finicky bridges.
