Elixir strings?

Are the GHS pressure-wounds a higher tension string than say, an Ernie Ball set of similar gauge? I see the medium light set is 44-102, which is a hair lighter than a typical 45-105 set. Is that to compensate for slight higher tension than typical rounds?

The PWs are stiffer (and higher in tension) by nature than typical rounds, but only slightly. So, the ML7200 (44-102) would be close to EB 45-105 in overall playing feel.
