I’ve always said that Elrick is the Cadillac of basses. It’s simple a luxurious bass by every metric.

I like the way the wood grain perfectly lines up for the electronics compartment.
Can you show us the back of the neck and the neck pocket?
Barts: There are two kinds of pickups sporting the bartolini logo. The 'real' ones (which you probably have in that bass) and the bartolini designed far east cheap-o ones. Those that get used in Ibanez basses in the mid range.
Better than no names, but a far shot from the real deal.

It's a beautiful bass there was a much more utilitarian Elrick Gold that sat in a Guitar Center I frequent and it was just so perfect to play. Had it been a 6 rather than a 5 I would own it...

I've seen a lot of "NBD" posts around here, but never understood what it means. To me it means no big deal, perhaps you could enlighten the noob in me.
Lol for some it probably should mean
“no big deal” as it is once again a reiteration of the same old thing but it means “ new bass day”
