Elrick NJS 5?

Hi,

Does anybody out there play an Elrick NJS 5? I see a few online in the low $3K range…..What are your thoughts? How does it compare to a custom shop J Bass in terms of fit, finish, comfort, tone? Does it record well? Does the 35 inch scale change the tone? Does it sound like a J Bass, or does it just look similar?

Everything Elrick makes is of the highest quality. I have owned four of his custom shops and I know that he makes the Standards as well.
