It's a junk body that I think I saved with gold leaf.I stuck a MIM jazz neck on it ,a set of EMG's and you know what?
It plays pretty good.
The wife says it reminds her of Elvis,hence the name.

A local craft shop."Michaels".
I sealed the leaf with leaf sealer and shot a whole can of clear afterwards.
The gold leaf was on sale for 4 bucks a bag.3 bags did it.I've 24 dollars in the finnish.
Yea ,I know .It is a bit campy.But what the hey,it's different.

I think it's VERY THIN sheets of gold.Just ask about it at any craft store.

Thanks for the kind words.
I've had some time on my hands lately and I just gave it a go.
The out come was one of those hate it or love it kind of things.
I also thought a collage of dollar bills or beer labels might look kind of interesting.Coins would be too heavy.
