Embedded photos slow to load

Over the last week or so I've noticed that when viewing threads with embedded photos the photos seem to take forever to load, and some of them don't finish at all, they just kind of quit half way through. Once in a while the bottom half of the pic will be a jumble of colored bands.

The site as a whole seems slower; the homepage used to load instantly. I don't see this happening with any other websites I frequent.

Computer browsing or phone/tablet? Wired? Wifi? Mobile data?

I haven't been experiencing slow loading for anything and I'm on TB every day in a variety of different viewing platforms. Not saying you're not experiencing problems of course. Does it happen on all sites or just TB?

Certainly seems like a network issue. Please tell us about your network (wifi? cellular? phone? desktop?). If you can, try pinging images.talkbass.com from a terminal window ("ping images.talkbass.com") and post the results. Also if you can, Invalid Link Removed and paste the results.
