Emergency Services

Say it's 7:00 Saturday night and you've got a gig that starts at 9:00 and you're tuning your bass and the string snaps - WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO !!!

Turns out you can relax, they have you covered.....

Of course, playing a three-string gig offers interesting fingerboard choices !

This is where you earn your 'Take a Spare of Everything' merit badge

I once played with a great (but flaky, go figure . . . ) guitar player. 20 minutes before I he gig, he starts packing up. WHAT?

Turns out he'd forgotten his spark plug socket he played a lot of slide with on this bluesy gig, so he's bailing.

Luckily we were next door to a still-open auto parts store. I run across the parking lot, run in, buy a spark plug socket, run back. He started to complain until I explained if he did, I'd run back over there and come back with a 2" combination wrench . . . .

Gig went off without any further problems.

Worked like a charm as an implied Attitude Adjuster.

I wasn't sure which bass, so I stopped in with my fishing gear, bass guitar, my bass fiddle, bass horn and a bass drum. Turns out, the medical companies name is just bass. I was so embarrassed I left everything on the floor and walked out, drove home in my Stingray, ate some Chilean sea bass, and noodled around on my cello.
