emg active eq switch?

Looking at some of my schecter basses, and notice theres two "up/down" switches on what I believe is the active eq part of the bass. Anyone know what these switches do?

Sounds like the emg BT circuit. You can select the frequency curve of the eq with them. Google emg bt tone circuit .

Hellraiser, c4, Damien, Stiletto, basically any that use emg pickups

Yep . You can select different start points of the curve.

oops, you're right.

i was reading it as toggle switches on the bass itself.

yes, the little DIP switches on the circuit card change the frequency range of the treble control.
