EMG DC, CS, P5 comparison soundclips

The sound clips page is missing.
Any chance of recovering the missing clips?
I would love to hear a comparison of these pickups!
I have a short scale Warmoth bass with EMG35 sized routes and am seeking a Warwick type sound.

Edit: I'm leaning to the CS - based on what I've read only, but would love to hear the differences, even a mix of the DC and CS?

Thanks to this thread I now realize the Sadowsky M24-5 I have been keeping from '99 is kick ass with the EMG 40DC pickups and probably a collector's item. Thank you! I had debated for years whether to swap out these pickups but realize this was a peak build for the Sadowsky models and it has the best B string I have ever heard from any bass bar none. And yes, even though this is a well built bass I firmly believe the delivery of the B string relies heavily on the pickup as well. It will get more use from here on out.:D

Those pups are EMG J slanted inside a soapbar case.
Agreed the B string on Sadowsky's is very good, but on those 24-5 pup placement is almost more important than the pickup itself.
I own one and love it!

I have a Yamaha NE-1 (first Nathan East sig model) which appears similar in many ways to the Sadowsky M24 5 string, especially in pickup placement. Have this bass loaded with two EMG 45JX and an EMG BQC - this thing kills and the B string is awesome.

Love the pickup placement, which I agree has a huge impact on the tone, regardless of pickup type.

Oops, my bad. I haven't been following this thread in quite a while, and jumped back to the OP to see who had done the original samples.

EDIT: Not my bad at all.

Dude, you posted a nice clip of DC's vs a PJ set.

What guys like aussietc and others have been specifically asking for, is to for someone to either resurrect or re-record the original samples, plus additional options, like the new X series. That's an exhaustive comparison of the whole EMG line, in the same bass, by the same player, with the same strings: DC's, CS's, TW's, J's, P5's, etc.

No disrespect for what you and others have done by posting individual samples, but it isn't the same thing at all.
