emg jazz active pickups?

I'm interested in putting active pickups in my Mexican fender jazz and I've been doing alot research, I think I'm gonna pick these Invalid Link Removed
But I was hoping for some input before I did.

Strictly speaking, you're actually asking for input on the EMG P/J set - not the J set. Right?

Can't help ya there. But I can tell you about this:

I had a set of EMG-Js some years ago. I thought they were hi-fi pickups that were very clean and clear. They weren't as hot nor as bright as I was led to anticipate, but I liked them just the same.

A good choice for modern rock, pop or funk. Not such a good choice for high-gain heavy rock or metal.
