I have been looking through all threads realted to EMG JVX PUs but did not find anything about my question: I have just mounted the PUs in my Jazz Bass and am pretty happy with the sound and the fact that they do not make any noise at all. However, I wonder if the active tone control is somehow defective. Cranked up to the maximum it gives a great, clear sound. However, turning it down the highs are only cut a little bit (at least to my taste) and the volume is going down significantly. Is this the way it is supposed to work or should the volume remain equal?
