EMG pickup choices

By Bolin Steinberger 5 has what I believe is an EMG 81 pickup which is somewhat too trebly for my taste. I read on the EMG website that the EMG 85 has more bass and less treble.
Anyone have any experience with these two? Suggestions for another substitute soapbar. The onboard preamp on the bass is an 18V Fishman. Thanks.

I clearly misidentified the pickup on the bass. I now believe it is an EMG-35P. And the Fishman preamp is just for the piezo in the bridge.

Any suggestions as to bassier, ballsier alternatives to the 35P?

Do you have any pics of it? I have 35Js which should be exactly the same sized housing: EMG 35 housing. They make all sorts of pickups in that size as well as pup manufacturers like Bartolini that also make pups in that EMG 35-sized housing. Bartolini calls em M3 sized.
