Can anyone tell me since when EMG has been using the quick connect system.Plz.

EMG can tell you exactly but seems it's between 2 and 3 years. They should have just called them clips cause there's nothing quick about them. Alembics style are quick clips.

I think it's been a lot longer than that - the install I did on my Fender 5 had the quick connectors, and that was in 1996 or 1997.

Agreed with luknfur. The harness ends still have to be soldered to the controls. I'm not sure what the advantage is unless you are changing out pickups often, and not many of us are going to be doing that.
