Has anyone tried these PUPs? I was considering putting these in my Epi T-bird (not looking for the T-Bird tone necessarily, really looking for more of the classic EMG P & J tone). Thoughts, suggestions, etc.?

EMG-TBP & J for T-bird replacements

I threw a set of TBP actives in my Dean Demonator 4. These pickups are pricey, but after I heard the tonal difference, I could see why. Very balanced and responsive. It also cuts through the mix a lot better without being overbearing. Throw in an 18-volt mod and your bass will sound like a monster. I would definitely recommend 'em to anyone.
If you're looking for more of an EMG P/J tone, how about a 35P4 and a 35J? They're not exact T Bird size (slightly smaller) but I do believe they drop right in...
