EMG TWX -> it's EMG CSX + JCSX

no questions, just wanted to share some information.
I installed the EMG 40TWX expecting to get the JX sound but it doesn't sound quite the same, kinda is missing a bit the bite. The problem is, that the supposed JX side is actually the JCSX, which is slightly different :

EMG 40 (5 string)JXJCSXCSX
Magnet TypeCC/SC/S
Resonant Frequency (kHz)4.053.482.50
Output Voltage (Finger)2.002.002.50
Output Impedance (KOhm)222

I have one in a bass, in the MM housing. The "pull" position is J in physical geometry. There is one big Ceramic with the steel plates. The J--side is two stacked coils. Don't expect conventional J-pickup tonality out of it. BUT...it does make a really clear, quiet, linear tone. I have a bass with a CS and reversed the push-pull switch and keep this bass in the JCSX position, pulling to the CSX position when I want more thickness.
