EMG's 75' Jazz

Hey guys I just had my 75' overhauled. Neck refin, body refin, and fret job (PLEK). Yes I know this affected the tone, but my active EMGs (which have been on this bass before) have WAY too much high end now, even with the tone knob all the way off. I dig in pretty hard when I play and if I do that now its too tinny. I had a suggestion to put a different capacitor on the tone knob. Any ideas?

You could try to lower the pickups a bit. That will probably help, and it's free.

The passive tone knobs don't affect the sound enough on EMGs. They now sell an active tone control which comes free with their pickups supposedly solves this, but I haven't tried it so I can't comment on its effectiveness.
