Double Bass Eminence and Bassbone OD - 1/4" Output Pedal Problem

I just got a Radial Bassbone OD pre-amp pedal and have trouble getting any volume from my Eminence when using the 1/4" output on the pedal.

I have the PZB depressed. When I run a bass guitar into Input-A and out the 1/4" output to one of 2 amplifiers, it works as expected. If I run my Eminence into Input-A and out the 1/4" output, I only get a signal in the amplifier if the Bassbone gain is maxed out and the amplifier gain and master are almost at max. Still, it's not a volume that can be performed or practiced at.

If I instead output the Eminence from the Balanced OUT into an Acoustic Image amplifier which has an XLR input, the volume is normal and what I expect.

Has anyone noticed this and found a solution? Is there something wrong with the 1/4" output on the Bassbone OD when using a bass with piezo pickup?

Yes, it does. I’ve also tried different cords and amplifiers with the same result.

Sounds broken.

Since it's working fine with the electric bass, this sounds like an issue with the upright. That's my best guess. Maybe calling the radial support may help. They are pretty responsive.

Could this be a TRS vs mono plug issue?

Okay, try plugging a second quarter inch cable into whatever input you're not using. See if that solves the problem.

Typically this is the 2nd input based on the history of this issue. Alternatively, out your electric in the 2nd, and upright in the 1st.
