Double Bass Eminence bass - Modify with Full Circle pickup

Just recieved a second-hand Eminence. Great bass but the Realist seems a bit tired. I have read some posts about changing pickup to a Full Circle. This seems to be a good choice, but I haven´t seen any posts that tells which size (version) of the Full Circle. Anyone who can give some advice?

Should be ¼"x20. Mine was, but I live in the U.S. I don't know whether instruments shipped to Europe would have a different type of thread.

You might also consider the Gage Lifeline. I swapped out the original pickup on my Eminence to the LL and it worked and sounded great. Then I sold it.

Aren´t all of the Emineces built in China? At least the newer ones. Will check out the size you propose . I tried the Lifeline on my regular upright. Didn't´t sound good on my bass, but I may try it on the EUB

As an aside to your question, I believe Lynn Seaton tried a Full Circle on his Eminence, and if I remember correctly, he even had something made specially for it but it didn't work out. You might want to contact him to find out the details. BTW, I love my Full Circle on my DB. I used the original copper Realist on my Eminence and was relatively pleased with it. It had a bit more mid-range than I liked, but hey, it's not a DB.
