Empire State Build (and other random stuff)

So if I found decals in 1/32 I could just use any old F-86 kit. Or, considering the size of 1/32, I may be able to just make stencils and paint the markings on. Sounds like a good project idea.

oh ok i found a company called Techmod

They have a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] set that has similar markings.

Otherwise any scale set with white letters will work for the rest.

or make the logos in high ress and use the testor decal maker.
thing is white marks are hard to do since ink jet computer printers dont do white!!!!

but yes yes we must finish the building.....
all that is left, is the tower.

oh these battery get seriously abused, except for my 5000's

any good advice? i dont really know proper maintenance, I abuse my batteries alot. I'm still running everyday blasted a few batteries last night. Its funny everyone told me how stupid the stampede is. And between my electric and gas revos and slashes. I been having a blast poping wheelies and hitting ramps hard with the stampede, its got a velineon motor...its fast! very light car.

The biggest advice I can give about RC batteries..... Make the move to lithium polymer batteries and you'll never look back. More consistent and even power, longer lifespan- higher amperage capabilties really shine with brushless systems.

I was into the nitro stuff for awhile- but electric brushless is the way for me. I was turned on to it by a slow old school stampede I pieced together for my son. I don't use them much these days, by my 4x4 stampede is my go-to RC vehicle.

What about Li-po's tendency to explode? I don't do RC, but I used to be really active in airsoft, and the electric guns use practically the same thing as RC batteries. Many people switched over to Li-po batteries, and I've witnessed smoke coming from the battery compartment of many an airsoft gun during a game. Also heard many stories of Li-po's blowing up while charging. Perhaps this is just an issue with the airsoft-specific batteries, as they are smaller than their RC cousins?

Well, my kit collection just got bigger.....

I'm going to start on the FW190 first. Looks like a really nice kit with a complete engine, and you can even choose to have the machine gun bays open, exposing all the innards.
