I can't tell you how much I wish the dip switches were externally accessible. I've never modded anything, I'm assuming this would be more of a custom deal...does anybody have any idea where I would start if I were interested in it?

I couldn't find photo of the dip switches but I'm assuming they're inside under the bottom. If that's the case you could mill an access hole in the bottom cover to facilitate easier access. I did that with a FEA opti-FET to save me from having to remove the bottom cover all of the time.

I couldn't find a picture either, but yes, your understanding is correct.

I don't have the tools/experience to mill it and would rather not just open a hole in it. It seems like there must be a better way, albeit not as cheap or easy.
