Empress ParaEQ Bass!?

OK. I bought ParaEQ deluxe quite recently, so I don't want to jump on the next new shiny thing right away. But I already now I will buy this thing eventually.. :-) Empress is probably my favourite pedal brand.. (I have the bass compressor, phaser and had ZOIA few years ago. Would like the delay, but it is probably overkill for my needs..)

s/n 41 just arrived. Probably won’t get to check it out until Tuesday, but I’m so stoked to try a couple things out!

Has anyone compared it to the Q\Strip?
The ParaEQ offers way more control - I wonder if it would be much more complex to dial in a gig.
Tks
I had the Q/Strip and the blue ParaIIDeluxe on my board at the same time (Para at the front, Q/Strip at the back).
The Para is way more powerful and precise at the same time than the Q/Strip. In fact it is easier to dial in than the Q/Strip. In the low end the Q strip can have a tendency to become boomy even with the HPF.
With the Para this problem does not exist as the HPF is not a switch but can be dialled in at the just the right amount.
