Endorsees?

Of course there is perks. They offer it to you. You usually get a discount.

You endorse the company by the way, not the other way around.

To be endorsed you have to meet a certain criteria. A friend of mine was looking to endorse KRANK! amps and found out he needed to play like 250 shows a year (which I find insane) I don't know if he was exaggerating about that or not, but you get the idea. The companies want you, the endorsee, to get their product out in front of a ton of people. The bigger the company, the harder it is I would think.

You were quite right with the second paragraph (and also the general advice). But, being nit picky... fixed a couple of points.

Artist=endorser
Company=endorsed/endorsee

;)

Create some fake companies and say you endorse them. Kind of like how George Costanza created the fake foundation to donate to.

For example...I endorse ATU Amps, Slick Strings, and Power Pedals. :D

Start small, contact the string company you use and ask for an artist deal. You'll get a discount and have to put up the brands banners, etc on ur website. Once you endorse one company it opens the door for others.

Also go to NAMM if possible. Great for networking!!!!!

i wish i could go to NAMM. living in australia for the lose. there's is this independent guitar shop around here i've been thinking hitting up. i always get him to set up/serivce my guitars/bass, buy strings from there.
