I just saw this on my local Craigslist. I know its hard to tell with the limited info. Are these a decent buy? I am looking for my first upright. I currently own an Ergo EUB, but would love to have a true upright.
Meh. That's a mid-90s model EC-1, the bottom of the line. Until recently, that model came with a painted maple fingerboard, which wears quickly unless you use plain gut or weedwackers exclusively. It costs more to replace the board than the bass is worth.
Nice thanks. Unfortunately, $1,500 is more than I can spend on an individual. If I end up deciding to get one anytime soon I will break out the ole credit card So i'll need to do it at a store.
