You see the actual stretch in the winding, can’t be a good thing
My action is somewhat higher but on the flats in the photo stretch is minimal, lower action (which would slightly improve the brake curve) is also not an option for my my setup is the same on all my basses, which I like and can attack the strings without fretslap, my preference.
