Entertainment Industry Biographies

I watched a documentary on the Eagles the other night, which was great. I'll be looking for a biography from Frey or Henley to read now.

-Mike

If you value your Eagles music, I warn you not to read about them. You will come to hate everyone but Misner and Schmitt. You will get annoyed with Frey and Henley's incessant money grasping, hidden money so the other band members can't tell if they're being ripped off. The sheer arrogance of how they feel about everyone other than themselves. And you will grow to despise Felder's constant whining and overall personal weakness.

You have been warned.

That all came through in the documentary I watched. Henley said more than once he felt he was better and more valuable than anyone else in the band so he deserves more $$ than the others.

I just wouldn't have felt right not warning you.

I also warn against any involvement with anything regarding John Fogerty. He will destroy any faith in humanity you have left.

Nothing wrong with making more than the other band members, but that has to be put in the contract. Hiding money from the others is indefensible. But how how would one member get his hands on the money before the others do?

What would you DO with a camel?

Plenty of people on the outskirts of LA own lions, tigers, bears, etc... They can be used for private zoos or movies. Michael Jackson had all kinds of large exotic animals at his ranch in Santa Barbara. The real question is, what would Prince do with a camel? (Copy Michael Jackson, of course.)

From what I've read, the 5 members were supposed to get a fair split, not counting songwriting. That's not including Schmitt and Walsh. But the management would not reveal the band profit to anyone but Henley or Frey.
