I was referring to the regular BM-PI but I have tried the BBM and here is what I thought:

It was...OK. It's a tame fuzz but does make a nice entry into the fuzz world but it goes at the bottom of my list.
 
Big Muff (bass) is pretty much a no brainer for me. It is easy, works great. I use it and love it.

BTW I have a Darkglass Microtube B3K on order. They were out of stock last week but said it would ship this week.

I found the black Russian muff to be more of a thick distortion thru my passive p, NOT FUZZY. Low end loss was too significant, especially with distorted guitar. Fuzzrocious grey stache is similar with better bass response, roll back the "sustain" for heavy distortion or crank it for heavy fuzz...

BBM was meh. Go big out of the gate and trade until you get what satisfies.
