I have searched quite a bit, so none of that please
I've been looking for an envelope filter for a while now, and went to the shop today (I had my eye set on the Chunk Systems Agent 00Funk Mark II).
When I got there, I turned it on, and it was absolutely disgusting. I could not get a decent envelope filter sound out of it (I like just the generic envelope filter sound, not the weird synth bass sounds)!
Well anyway, the staff member brought out some more pedals, including the EHX Doctor Q, MXR Auto Wah and the Digitech BSW (among some other I can't remember, for good reasons).
The only one that good get a decent envelope filter sound was the Digitech!
So, is there a way to get the generic envelope filter sound out of the Agent 00Funk? And how is the EHX Q-Tron (Mini, normal, and '+') with the generic sound?
And is the Digitech True-Bypass?
Thanks!

I own 5 and right now I'm thinking of putting together a smaller board and just using my 105Q and leave my filters for recording or for when I need one for more then 2 songs.
but the best I've come across, at least for auto wah-ish stuff is the EMMA discombobulator . . .
