What a great pre-advertising question to start a thread; nice marketing play.
Good luck on the pedal; hope it sounds great.

You're welcome and my question is not a pre advertising one at all. In my research in regards to my pedal the question was further solidifying my original thoughts on why I chose to design a filter not like any one the market.

Dude, just loose the spin and man up.
I've been in sales for 35 years and know how hard it is to bring a product or service to the market.
Clearly you and your boys researched plenty before shelling money out to build something.
You have hinted at this thing months ago but made it out to be a big secret.
I honestly hope it sounds great as I would like to own a filter that pleased me more than the others I've had.
Just release the thing so we can all decide for ourselves.
The troll factor can be seen from blocks away.

Like I said I did exactly what I set out to do and since you're in sales, you would know that proper research is always needed for things to be successful.

You make it seem like I committed a cardinal sin of some sort.

And if I want to actually advertise on talkbass, I will have to pay for that.

Officer if I was out of line, believe me the mods would have came down hard on me a long time ago.

And you calling me a troll isn't kool and I'll remember that.

And what it actually does is a secret until it officially hits the market.

Don't be a hater.

Not a hater and honestly wish you the best.
I don't think your approach is bad; actually very good and a very clever spin.
I would encourage a patent or at least a PAF if the unit does have special circuitry; if there is enough demand $8-20K could be a bargain over the long run.
I would think advertising anywhere would cost money.
Remember what you wish; it's your truth as you see it.

I would love a dual filter with 4-2-1 pole switches routable in parallel and series with independent rate and cutoff controls for each. Maybe have HP & BP in addition to LP. Also, if there was some way to have pitch tracking so the cutoff opens wider on high notes like the keyboard tracking on an analog synth. Envelope with a rate as quick as a Mutron.

The only thing that comes close right now is some of the SA effect types in the BEF and I assume Manta. But the dual filter modes don't give you independent control. I feel 4 pole and a thick harmonically rich input is needed for great synth bass like a moog.
