Envelpoe Filters, any new developments?

Anyone know of an envelope follower with CV outs?

I would love to control synth filters with an envelope follower. I want to run my bass through my synths. If an envelope follower of instrument signals had a CV out to control cutoff and a gate out to activate a synths envelops that would be stellar!!! If someone could introduce me to that I would be forever thankful.

I don't know of any pedals that do this, but since you are already using non-pedal stuff with CV inputs, there are several envelope followers for modular synth like the Pulp Logic Entry Point and Doepfer A119 that will accept an instrument-level signal on a 1/4" cable and output an envelope CV. The Doepfer outputs gates, the Pulp Logic does fundamental extraction so you can do hard or soft sync of oscillators with your bass.

Also, this would not be an impulse buy for the price, but you can get unbelievable results sending this square wave from the Entry Point into the Erthenvar Patch Chord - your bass becomes an additive synth with up to 24 sine waves at harmonic frequency ratios. This is something that's simply not possible with any pedals that currently exist.

I think Moog LPF does.

I got a SolidGold Funkzilla from Pedal Genie in to play with today! So far it seems to be a cool sounding pedal with a ton of options that I'll probably never use. Due to the size I could never keep it but I just wanted to see how it compares to my Aguilar Filter Twin. So far there's no reason soundwise I would keep it either. Sounds great, but pretty much sounds like my Filter Twin. But the Funkzilla has tap tempo and an expression pedal jack if that is important. I really like the sound, but mainly because it sounds like my Filter Twin :)

Audio samples Jauqo?

EHX has a big rack unit called the Bi-Filter which has CV in and out for both filters, plus an effects loop. No gate out, though.

After spending much of the night getting to know the Funkzilla...I still prefer my Filter Twin. In a nutshell, the Funkzilla in thinner and quackier. Filter twin is fatter and more 'talk boxy'. The Funkzilla reminds me of the MXR BEF but with a lot more options.

First, the Doepfer is exactly what I am looking for. Perhaps it is time to embark on the money swallowing journey that is modular. Envelope w/ gate plus any one of my synths gives me 3 env. and a VCA!

Second, thanks for opening my mind to the Erthenvar Patch Chord! please tell me you have a sound sample of this setup. It could truely be insanely huge, assuming tracking doesn't suck with bass frequencies. With zero Eurorack setup currently it would be ~$1k investment.
