Hello fellow bassist, I finally saved enough quarters to invest in a new rig. I have read that I can't go wrong with this set up. I play 95% acoustic bass and occasionally electric. Thanks in advance for your feedback !

I would say there’s a lot of folks on TB that would appreciate how you think it sounds when you get it all together. Please include a description of your bass, pickup system, a type of preamp, if any, and mic, if any.

Do you use any kind of preamp, HPF, high-Z buffer, etc? Epifani amps have a very low input-Z and can benefit from a high-Z buffer. They don't have much of a HPF, either, so you might benefit from that to protect the speaker and control the lows.
IME, a Realist straight into the Epifani is a very forward "Ron Carter" kind of sound. That works great for Ron Carter, but maybe isn't for everyone. Other pickups that need a higher input-Z than the Realist will sound even more forward and mid-rangy.
