I'd strongly recommend another of the 112UL's to finish your stack. There's something very even and beautiful about stacking two identical cabs. That will kill. IMO!

epifani makes what they call the "ul 2x10 AP" its essentially an ul 2x10 on its side with the logo placed appropriately...i mioght just get an ul 2x10 and switch the logo for stacking purposes....lovin that f-1....sweet, sweet amp.

I owned an AP-210 but sold it. They do have an advantage as a floor monitor but I found that I prefer the regular UL-210 for stacking. Lately I have been using a UL-210/UL-112 combination with a WT-550 and am liking it. But then I've used UL-115, UL-110, UL-210 and UL-112 cabinets in many combinations and have yet to find a combination that I didn't like. The UL-110/UL-112 combo works real good for me in small rooms. I am real interested in picking up a second UL-112 because I've used the 112 cabinets in pairs and like the results. Unfortunately, one of my dogs tore a ligament and needs surgery so the cabinet will have to wait.

What does that mean? That's above 2 ohms, so it should be fine.

I think he means that since it's rated to handle 2-ohms, that 2.67-ohm load should not present a problem.

Ok, I re-read it, and I initially took "interesting results" to be something regarding the load since he mentioned it, but I think all he was saying was that cab combo is interesting.

UL212 and UL112. 212 for "bigger" gigs, rock, blues, etc. 112 for acoustic bass and rehearsals.
Saved my back and sounds amazing for sure.
For preamps, you need to check out Mike Pope's MPP series. I'm a little biased, but the pre and my Crown amp really make those cabs sing. This combo is all about the preamp as the amp will pretty much do what it's told...

Hah! +1... I even owned one of these. I had in my mind's eye the picture of the 'vertical diagonal' T model that would more closely match the footprint of the 112 for stacking. I was confounding 'vertical/horizontal' with 'in-line/diagonal'!

However, after seeing a picture of that 210 again, it reminds me of how much I didn't like it My recommendation for a second 112 stands

On it's own I don't favor the 210 either. However, paired with a 115 or 112 it's great IMO.

I believe the slanted front model was called the AT-210, if I remember correctly. I believe that didn't make it into UL format, but I could be wrong. I do remember seeing the old T slant fronts though... nice stage monitor cab!

I once owned an AP-210 which was an ultralight cabinet. Sold it to a fellow TBer. I think the "AP" was for Advanced Projection.

Advanced Projection... yes, I remember now. I didn't remember that making it into the UP line though. Interesting. Looks cool.
