Double Bass Epifani performance series

I have an Epifani ps-112, and it sounds great with my little mark 2 on electric bass, but not so good with my rs-2 equiped upright bass. My upright sounds better going through the gallien krueger 210 cab than the epifani. I was wondering, would the ul-series sound that much better than the ps-series?

I have the PS112 too. I don't use it for DB (too big to carry). I do have a UL110 that sounds fine with DB so long as it doesn't need to get too loud (it's only a 10). I haven't tried the UL112.
