Answer is it might make sense. You might love it. They might work together great. But you'll never know until you try it.
Generally though, mixing driver sizes/cabs is less good than picking up an identical cab (manufacturer, series/model, ohms) to a cab that you already know you like (provided that your amp can handle the combined ohms of the cabs).
If you're getting an offer you can't refuse on the 112 & want to give it a go, great. If it works out, super, write a report & post it here. If it doesn't, sell the cab that you like less & then pick up a match to the one you prefer.
