Epifani UL2-112 vs Berg AE-112 (vs EBS neo-112)

Dear all

I need to buy a 112 now. I need it in London on the 21st.

I have been able to hear the UL2-112 and liked it, though I thought the highs were a bit harsh/over-present. I was about to buy it because I cannot find a place in the UK where I could compare them to the EBS neo-112, and the old Berg were out of the race because I want something tat weight max 30 pounds. But now, they have the bloody AC112 out.

I tried to find a comparison test/comment/shout-out on TB and after
reading the 23 pages on the new AE112, nobody made any real statement as to their sound.

Do you have some insights to share with me? Does it sound as deep as the Epifani? As agressive? Not enough highs?

I'm interested in the exact same thing.
I currently use a Bergantino HT112 but I'd love to shed some weight.
Tom Bowlus (who else?) responded to me in a PM when I asked him about the EBS neo 112 and spoke favorably of it describing the Epi UL112, and Berg HT112 and the EBS Neo 112 being progressively lighter in the lows in that order.
I really should have pulled the trigger on the EBS cab that was for slae here last month- but I was just too shy to do so without hearing it first.
Perhaps Tom will weigh in on this thread?

The AE112 is BRAND new, as in most stores don't even have them in stock yet, and probably fewer than a dozen members own one. You're just going to have to wait longer to get some decent comparisons regarding the new Bergie AE line.

I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on an AE112, and once I do, I'll definitely report back. But 'til then, gnergaard has accurately reported my 'findings' regarding the other cabs. And I'll add that they are all very good, just different flavors of good.
